This collection is crafted in Japan to celebrate sushi, Japan's most famous culinary art. Each model is built upon three iconic G-SHOCK styles, featuring colors and design details inspired by salmon, tuna, or ikura (salmon roe).
The GA-2100SSH captures the vivid orange and marbled texture of fresh salmon meat, taking inspiration from a kitchen knife for the design of the hour and minute hands, while adorning the inset dial with a nigiri sushi shape. Even the case back features the iconic motif of a traditional yunomi teacup, recalling the custom of enjoying post-meal tea.
Each watch comes in special packaging inspired by the paper folding boxes used in sushi restaurants. Lifting the watch reveals a hidden wasabi pattern designed to match each specific topping: a small amount for salmon, more for tuna, and none for ikura. Even the packaging reflects the little details that make the sushi dining experience extra special.
From the watch case to the packaging, playful details throughout the piece evoke a fresh and thoroughly enjoyable sushi dining experience.
