The "two-eye" analog design features dedicated sub-dials displaying a small second hand and a multi-function date disc, with the tip of the second hand decorated with the Shock Resist symbol, telling the story of G-SHOCK's origins. The easy-to-read 3-day date window comes in a color that harmonizes with the dial, reducing color contrast and allowing full focus on the time. For effortless readability, the hands are proportionally designed in a parallel style, reflecting the shape of the raised hour markers and the watch case, presenting a calm and seamlessly coordinated look.

A magnetic retention structure secures the fragile hand components without directly attaching them to the axis, using magnetic force instead. This allows the Shock Release Hand (minute hand) to effectively absorb and disperse impacts.*

Use the second-hand pause function to stop the second hand in the sub-dial at any time, reducing power consumption and extending battery life.

Bringing this functional layout into G-SHOCK's signature octagonal shape creates an unmistakable, next-generation iconic design.

       * Due to the magnetic retention structure, the minute hand may vibrate from shock or vibration. Additionally, immediately following an impact or vibration, the minute hand may temporarily move out of its normal position, but will return to its original position after a few minutes.
